Image sensor programming

dear sirs

I want to devolop a programme to read some codes with a PIC connected with a web camera. please explaine me how to get D+ , D- signal in to PIC. and what are these two pin.

Dear mfdo,

Which device are u using? Is it compatible with USB?

At a minimum u must use 16C745/65 which is compatible with usb1.0 or 18f2550/4550 which is compatible with usb 2.0.

In addition u must load suitable firmware to the device initially.

It would be better you search the Microchip site with a phrase "USB" and i'm sure you will find many info about usb and firmwares and of course, about the pins will be used since the device is selected.
