ethernet controller problem

Hellow,am clement i've been battling with ethernet controller problem with my laptop named inspiron 600m. i have tried many ethernet drivers on it but all to no avail.i even tried the wireless but not ON. presently, both the LAN &WLAN are not working. please what would i do?

Dell's support website should have the proper drivers for your laptop. There will be a place on their support site where you can input you laptop model number, and it will have all the applicable drivers specific to your hardware. If it still does not work with the proper drivers, you may have a problem with your Ethernet hardware.

Your PC should have come with the proper Ethernet drivers. What are you trying to connect to? What are you trying to do with it???
