Seismic Testing for Structure.

hello.....members,

i would like to have your knowledges and ideas about earthquake/seismic testing for structure. Please may i have various methods and procedures for those test.

My favorite is a 'shake table', but it is hard to test full size structures one them without a BIG table :)

What exactly do you mean by testing? Do you mean to test a proposed structural design; existing structures for integrity; Materials, welds or joints for a specific project performance requirement; etc..
