It's best to drive around your neighborhood and find some new work that you like.

Ask the owner who did it for them, and whether they are happy, and check it yourself for defects.

Even a recomendation can go haywire, but publicized data is just as likely or more so to be bogus. Its like going to a rich guy to find a lawyer, what is good for them might not be so for you.

Our new construction by a contractor who did the old ladies place down the street is just as good as hers, no complaints.

Try WECA. Western Electrical Contractors Association.

All their electricians go through intensive training and are all CA State Licensed Electricians (a difficult license to obtain and that is why most city and county electricians in Unions cannot pass this test and hire outside contractors to perform most of their work), and WECA is an organization very reliable and dependable electrical contractors. They are a merit based shop.

They offer courses online and in classroom setting.

Go to www.weca-iec.org for details.

If you are a contractor, you can join WECA.
