BSPP vs G3/4 vs GHT

09/26/2008 11:04 AM

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me if 3/4" BSPP (which is I think 14 threads per inch) = "G3/4" (threads per inch = ?).

And is either one or both equal to 3/4" GHT (garden hose thread)?

Yes - 3/4" BSPP = G3/4

@ 14 threads per inch

No - this thread does not match 3/4" GHT (otherwise known as .75-11.5NH : ANSI/ASME B1.20.7-1991 from Machinery's Handbook - Hose Coupling Screw Threads)
