Do as advised on the first post. You could also try to stop all anti virus and ad-aware etc, then try to install.
I was not quite sure if you are loading from a CD/DVD? If so you could also remove the connection to the internet just while you are setting up the program. Do not forget to do a restart of course and, depending on your anti bug apps' they may or may not start automatically. If they do not start go to the 'ALL PROGS' menu and click the anti virus which has not started. Then, restart again with your apps and all anti virus stuff. And 'fingers crossed everything should find its own slot and work ok. Let us know OK?
take care

I was talking sort of general ways you might help the install process OK?
You may find you might have to un-install and re-install some anti virus and other protection programs. I cannot recall if it was said, but you could also turn off windows Firewall while loading from a Disk.
If you still have problems,
Turn the firewall off and all protection, if you need to download the program you need, and
pull the wen connection lead from the computer as soon as you have the download.
Configure your writing program, then restart all protection apps and firewall and plug in the internet connection.
Restart
Run your anti virus or allow it to run if it is configured to engage on start-up.
This is to make sure no nasties have crept in while you may have been downloading.
Good luck

This message "generally" indicates that you need to be at administrator level to install the program. If you can't initiate the program at that level (ie, you're a user at a company where the IT people insist on being the only administrators) then you'll have to go to them to resolve the issue.
If you are the owner of the computer, just logging in as the sole user (implied administrator) does not give you administrative rights. Usually, installing a program requires you to right click on the install icon and select "Run as Administrator".
