Pl. buy the book relays by van Warington Vol1 &2 covers everything u need to know.

Dude, There are about 1,000,000 different electro-mechanical protective relays. What you have asked is approximately equivalent to saying Help please send me the application note on op amps! I would suggest that you start be reading "The Art and Science of Protective Relaying" available a a free download from General Electric. http://www.gedigitalenergy.com/multilin/notes/artsci/index.htm
