Grid earthing is thru a mesh of buried conductors(either GI /Cu) strips,to bring down the earth resistance to @ 1ohm.

when talking about grid earthing, you should also think inn terms of the alkilinity of the soil around there.

the materials used- i.e. the copper should prefarably be of a good bar or rod than of joined stripes.

te mesh around should be not less than 10cm below. that means u also take into consideration the the type of moving equipmet around so as to avoid ruptures of the copper from the ground.

train ur personnel too.
