Water Cooled Liquid Fuel Check Valves for Gas Turbines

Is this technology considered to be the best available today for dual fuel gas turbines. Some manufacturer claims to come up with Teflon coated seats to prevent coke from sticking. While water cooling eliminates coke formation itself. We have a gas turbine where we face lot of problems while transfer from gas to liquid.

Wish I could help you.

30 yrs in the gas turbine business but firing on sweet natural gas ( low sulphur) and jet AI only !!!!!

No problems with fuel valves at all !!!!!!

Hi Jacob

Nice to see you again on this post. Hope things are going greaaaat for you.

I have come across company called Jansen who has developed water cooled check valves. GE has not officially sent TIL but is putting it on GTs with problems on check valves. As per Jansen it can go from HGPI to HGPI without any issue on it.

You are lucky to have no issue with it.
