Fine Tool Casting

Anyone have any knowledge of casting of fine grade iron or steels for hand tools?

Don't know if this will help, but there is a company by the name of Lile Neilson who produces its own line of cast tools. They provide a very high standard of workmanship and produce what is felt by many as the best in the business. They do a wide variety of castings in bronze and cast iron. Don't know if they accept job shop work, but it might be worth a try. Good luck.
