Does anyone have a definition for Namur mounting in equipment. I have recently come across this in solinoid controlled valves and have little information other than it is possibly a german std.

NAMUR is a user association that is predominantly German led, it covers all aspects of industrial automation from design to maitenance. Their website is www.namur.de. They produce standards for many types of equipment (eg solenoid valves, prox switches etc). The majority of the information on their website is in German but there are some pages in English.
