Connect the Inlet port of any design Air Compressor to a tank that can withstand negative pressure and open the Outlet Port to atmosphere. Now you have a Vacuum Pump though it may not be very efficient or allow hiigh vacuum.

Cover the Suction Hose of your Vacuum Cleaner and feel the SUCTION, another low pressure, low efficiency Vacuum producer.
