Can someone help me to identify the pros and cons of each ?
You should tell us what you want.
Noryl, polyphenylene sulfide, is hard, tough, high temp, but brittle. good for electrical stuff. low dielectric constant. Harder to process.
Delrin, acetal homopolymer, is slippery, white, easily molded into gears and sliding parts.
Easier to process
To be used as a Button in a Militar equipment. I'm trying to find arguments to change from an old Delrin part to a new Noryl part (same form and function).
Can you use the same tooling? If yes, then use the cheaper. New tooling, forget it!
Why change at all?
