All brazing(silver soldering) of brass is done with AWS BAg-1 which is an alloy of Ag-Cd-Zn-Cu, unless there is a reason not to use that alloy. It melts at 1145 degrees f and can be heated by any method. All the companies that make brazing alloys make the alloy. See Handy and Harman's web site for example. Specific reasons not to use that alloy include large gaps to fill and poor ventilation (Cd fumes are toxic). Unless you have a specific reason not to use that material, it is the alloy of choice.
