Hello I have worked on PCs for about ten years and as far as I know you cannot enter into cmos and make changes without a key board. You can reset the cmos by removing the battery or using the jumpers. I supose it would be possible to make some kind of device that uses machine language programming to act as a replacment for a key board but the expence wouldnt be practical. I will watch this just in the event someone knows of such a device.

A key board is used so a human can interface with a pc otherwise what is the point of a computer? Key boards are cheap and easy to replace. Do you have a need for computer that dosent use a key board?

Not quite sure I understand the question.
If the BIOS is in a socket you could use a PROM programmer. Ultimately this still involves the use of a keyboard of course, but, a different one from the one in the computer you have the "problem" with.

The way it sounds he just wants to enter into cmos to inspect or make changes. If something is wrong with the bios it would be cheeper to replace the chip than the cost of buying a programer.
