Dear all,

Please tell me what should be the value of Earth pit for 11kv/415 volts 1250 kva transformer substation, and distribution feeder as per standered rules.

Dear Sir,

First you need to work out regarding the short circuit current capacity along the time.

Also, soil resistivity in Ohm/metre needs ro be determined.

Based on design the earth grid. (Cross section of earth Conductor, spacing between the conductor, depth underwhich the conductor shall be buried).

For your system the earth reisitnce shall be atleast equal or less than 1 Ohm.
