Automatic lubrication of ball bearing

11/23/2008 5:52 AM

Greeting all,

Could you please help me to find out a method to automate the lubrication of ball bearing of the pump instead of the manual method by using lubricator gun? I have heard about EASYLUBE and I am not sure if it is practical to be useed, I appreciate any information on this.

Most of the bearing supplier, such as SKF, FAG etc., have the automatical lubrication solution. I suggest you better go their website to find the infomaiton you need.

We have had much success with Vogel auto lube systems on our fleet of fire trucks. The system has a reservoir filled manually with lube. There is an electronic counter that re-lubes each selected fitting after a certain number of starts. The system can be made to lube at whatever rate, and volume you desire. You can reach them at http://www.devcocorp.net/foreign/vogel.htm Good luck.
