Bourdon or Membrane?

Hi,

Does anybody know in which cases shall I use membrane pressure gauge instead bourdon?

Hi,

Is it about liquid or gas ?

if your fluid is hot, corrosive,

if process contains suspended solids or is viscous

a membrane pressure (or a diaphragm seals) is better than a bourdon tube.
