deer frend,

Total units conumption par month is calculated as....

KWH CONSUMPTION = CONNECTED LOAD * DIVERSITY FACTOR * LOAD FACTOR *

WORKING HRS.

WHICH KIND OF INDUSTRY DO YOU HAVE IS NOT TOLD BY YOU.

SO, E.G. IF IT IS CHEMICAL PLANT,

DIVERSITY FACTOR - AVERAGE 0.75

LOAD FACTOR - AVERAGE 0.8

SO, FOR 30 DAYS/MONTH,

UNITS CONSUMPTION = 2800KW * 0.75 * 0.8 * 12 HRS *30 DAYS = 604800 UNITS - KWH.

Are you using full load of 2800 KW continuously for 12 Hrs?, there will be always diversity factor. If you are using full load then,

One unit means 1KWhr. i.e. If 1000 watts (1KW) consumed for an hour, then the consumed energy is 1 unit or 1KWhr. If 2800KW power consumed in 12 Hours a Day, then the consumed energy will be

2800KWx12 Hrs= 33,600 KWhr-Units/Day is your consumption.

33,600x30 Days=1,008,000 units per month.

Also this consumption purely depend on the power factor. If you maintain the PF nearer to Unity, this unit consumption will be less than the above
