Hardness of material

tell me the hardness of EN 8 material to be used as pin in automobile

You don't state what the pin is used for in automobile.

EN 8 has Brinell hardness of 152 to 207 which equels <15 Rockwell C scale

can be hardened and tempered to 25 Rockwell,can also be flame hardened or induction hardened.
