ELCB ( Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker) is required to be installed in in the electrical wiring of a building along with MCB and Fuse protection.ELCB protects a person accidentally coming in contact with live wire by immediately tripping off the circuit. This is called a shock guard in commercial terms. It also sense earth fault in an electrical wiring and electrical appliances and trips off supply to avoid electrical accidents and loss of energy .
