Automotive Hydrogen Generators- Fact or fiction ?

Are any of the hydrogen generators scientifically proven to work that people are installing on their cars.

Please comment on the following factors:

1. Safety

2. Efficienciy

3. Reliability/longevity

4. Fuel savings

5. Cost

6. Brands

Why don't you read about it firsthand from a guy who actually installed such a system in his car, to his regret?
