Battery Charging by Wind Turbine

Dear All,

Any body suggest me, what are the arrangement and how I can make wind turbine which charges 24v, 98ah battery for inverter purpose. speed control of turbine/regulation of charging etc...

Question: Why build an alternator if you could get a secondhand 12 or 24 volt car or truck alternator cheaply at a scrapyard?

Dear Jurie sa,

Thanks for your suggestion, My querry is to prime the alternator by wind energy, is any simple method is available , that can easily installed in urban area, By charging battery and using inverter, can be get the power for min 4 to 5 hours back up in parallel with board supply.
