Looking for a Hall Flow Meter

12/22/2008 8:10 AM

Good morning,

Just wondering if anyone has a source for a Hall Flow Meter (used or new). I have checked out ACuPowder but looking for something a little cheaper. We basically need the whole set (funnel, cup & stand) for testing of various powdered metals.

Thanks for your time and happy holidays to everyone

Hello mark_graham:

you mention the cost of the Hall Flow Meter. Can you tell me which country you are in and the ballpark figure for the test equipment you want please?

Have a wonderful holiday....................

I was quoted a price of approx $1500 US which would include the funnel, 25 cc cup and stand. I have searched somewhat on globalspec and hadn't come up with much.

Thanks

Hello Mark,

The $1500.00 sounds just a little too much for my liking. I know it is brass but, you could go to a prototype Engineer and get your own made for half that!

Did you get a chance to view the list from me? I had to check for powder tests, as Halls Flow Meter was bringing up lots of 'Hall Effect' things but only the one actual Proper test kit which you saw for $1500.00. I searched for 2 hours and got nothing back other than pumps, pipe joints etc. ..............

Is there another name for the actual test kit?

Then found a Hall set tester when I searched for Powder tests. And it was on this site! On searching on here further I found another 20-ish sights. You know what you want. And if you could check out these sights and tell me if any of them are what you want I would be obliged.

Take care and have a wonderful holiday...................
