Loads, Vessels and ASME Standards

12/23/2008 2:49 AM

what are the different loadings considered for the combined loading as per ASME SECTION VIII DIV. 2 ? How different loads are found out?

What is the criteria to decide whether vessel is safe in combined load calculations or not ( as per ASME SECTION VIII DIV.2) ? What are the factors to consider for ?

I am doing combined load calculations for vertical vessel. In PV Elite, it finds different load cases to calulate governing load case. How this load cases is decided?

How to find the axial loads for vertical vessels for combined load calculations ?

How bending moments are found for the same?
