Signals from Field Instruments, Sensors and Switches

12/30/2008 8:35 AM

how to make database of the signals(analog input, analog output, binary input, binary output)coming from the field or instruments, senors, swicthes by looking P&ID. so that we can design control logics and graphics. how many and what are columns should be there like sr.no. , range ,description of signal, type, card no.,channel no.,..etc.

i know this is like confusing but it is like huge problem for me .
