What's your interest or passion in? If you try doing something you're not particularly interested in, you'll get bored after a while and lose focus. However, if you're passionate about something, not only will you approach it entusiastically, your interest and passion will grow even stronger the more you actually do it. Think over it a while, come back with the answer, and it will be a lot easier for anyone here to advice you.

just do a simple force analysis and solidworks layout with assembly notes for the following elementary structure, noting adjustments for different substitute materials:
