Comparing Image Quality: Video Camera LCD vs. EVF

01/06/2009 11:15 PM

I'm trying to find out if there's a difference in quality between the image shown on the LCD screen of a videocamera and that shown on the electronic viewfinder (EVF). I have heard that there is only about 1/3 the picture definition on the LCD screen, so focusing with the EVF is a better idea? Is this true?

of cause it is.

EVF is only used for fast located, position, stage arrangement etc. focusing with it is no problem.

if you used 35mm camera in the old days, you would find its not too easy to focus with viewer.especially when used optical viewer.

if you hope to shoot text etc, tiny parts, you'd better use display large lcd screen.
