plz help me with my project selection

hi, I am yashwanth pursuing final year in b.tech(ECE),I have got an opportunity for doing my final year project in NATIONAL REMOTE SENSING CENTER which is very reputed organization in INDIA.But the problem with it is that i was alloted to do my project under the department of GEO INFORMATICS and it is very hard to find a project that i can do with an Electronics background ,and in addition i need to complete the project in just 2 months from now, so,plz suggest me a project in the particular field. Does GPS or Image processing suit me.

Hello Yash.

Can you do like this.

Just list down all the equipment, machinery and systems are used in geo informatics.(since you are in final year you must know those.)

Think about the limitations and defficiences in current available equipment, machinary and systems.and choose any one them that can offer you good level off challange. and at the same time doable by you, with the miniscule ammount of improvements.

Or think if you can offer something tottaly new concept that can fill up existing limitations.
