The question indicates to me that you have managed to get a site together and are ready to publish the site. I am also assuming that you took some online courses and got the site together on your own, otherwise the program you used would give you a hand.

As previously mentioned there are abundant free hosts that you can use if you are gaining experience. The biggest draw back is that you will have a domain name such as; yourdomainname.hostsdomainname.com If that doesn't bother you sign on with one, make sure the main/home page is named index.html. Once you are signed on the host will instruct you as to whether you are to load files via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) or by control panel. Upload your site using the specified method.

If you are going on with a serious site find a host that will meet your requirements, there are thousands look around.

Most of the hosts will give you a free domain with the site, If not it is usually easiest to buy the site from the host. Later down the line you will be solicited by a lot of people to buy the domain name from them, it is just easier to keep everything consolidated.

Good luck!

Where are you in the process? I pulled up your site and expected to see that the host had reserved the page. Usually the host has a file index.html that has some welcome message. This is usually replaced by your index.html file, which is your main page.

I don't use programs to write my pages so I am somewhat at a loss as to how Office publishes it's files.

There is almost no end to the sites on the web that will give you help with any web related subject, if you are interested in doing everything from scratch and basically free, look into sites like http://www.htmlgoodies.com and many others.

If you are interested in databases then you may want to get acquainted with PHP and MySql. http://www.phpfreaks.com is a good second place to land after getting some basic programing tips on PHP in the tutorial sites.

Welcome to "Hello World".
