Clever Engineering, an importer and distributor of air conditioning systems, is launching the latest range of evaporative cooling systems from Spanish manufacturer MetMann SA, from its offices in London and Kent.
The team at Clever Engineering have been designing and installing evaporative cooling systems for the past 10 years and average installations number 100 systems per season in places where conventional air conditioning is unsuitable such as factories and large workspaces.
'The MetMann series has been developed over 30 years and is probably the most comprehensive range of sizes and configurations available in Europe, and we don't have to wait for them to travel from the other side of the world to get here' says Commercial Director, Richard Pachucki.
The main AD-Series of fixed (installed) systems come in 8 sizes with airflow capability between 2,500 m3/h – 63,000 m3/h. This enables the smallest single unit to cool an area of up to 150m3 and the largest single unit to cool an area of up to 3,150m3. Each model is available as either side, down or up draught options and can be mounted internally as spot coolers or externally mounted and ducted within the building for maximum flexibility.
A single mid-range internally mounted unit that requires no external building work or complex installation - providing almost 40kW of cooling and suitable for a factory up to 275 sq. m. - could be installed for less than £3,000 and an additional £1500 to add heating if required. Quick delivery, fast installation and low running cost's add to the appeal of Evaporative Cooling systems.
A range of control options are available ranging from simple on/off controls, to full integration with existing Business Management Systems.
The use of centrifugal fans as standard in all models contributes to the quieter running of the equipment, allows for greater flexibility in design layout of ducting options.
The AD fixed range is complemented by 9 different sizes and configuration of mobile spot coolers and kits are available to adapt any of the fixed range for use as mobiles.
MetMann coolers are refrigerant and emission-free, environmentally friendly and deliver 100% fresh air with the minimum of energy consumption. Safe removal of airborne contaminants, odours and fumes are some of the benefits along with reduced incidence associated with dry air conditions and sick building syndrome.
