Lobe Pump Efficiency

Hi,

How can I increase efficiency of lobe pump. In my soap plant we are using centrifugal pump two places which are working efficiently than lobe. even centrifugal pumps are high shear pump. Is it because of clearance. How can I solve this problem. Thank you.

how many gallons a day do you pump if its over 5000 then a better solution is a hydraulic piston pump can get 50:1 and up to for some apps 100:1 ratio better effendcency than pnumatic drives will save you over 50 G a year on electricity

Let me not mix up lobe pump and centrifugal pump.

Just guide me how can I maintain clearance of lobe pump.
