Is there a standard to follow when setting temperature cycles for electronic boards?

What are the criterias which should be meet?

It depends on the specification, as required by the customer.

I'd guess for cheap consumer electronics...no temperature testing/cycling.
For high end consumer, maybe 24 hours running at 30oc?
For military, they should specify the test conditions.
