LED Replacement Lamp Wanted

01/15/2009 12:52 PM

I've been looking for a reasonable replacement bulb that operates on 24V and uses white LED's mounted in order to radiate light to the side, not out the end of the bulb.

In particular, I need a BA15 base (15mm bayonet) with two contacts on the bottom. So far, all I can find has a single LED pointed out the end. Not very useful in stack lights.

NotUrOrdinaryJoe

We obtain LED bulbs locally (NZ) from http://ledbulbs.co.nz

I noticed they carry 12v double pin sidefacing, for auto lights, like this.

Some US suppliers have come up in Google searches, if you have trouble locally try Ross at the above.

Good luck.

No problems BA15 double contact 24VAC/DC? Do you require staggered or parallel pins? Then its just a question of how many LED you wish to have mounted radially for light intensity. Try www.solarled.com.au and contact with your enquiry. We have a large range of 12/24V LED
