HR4000 break out box serial communications

Has anyone controlled a HR4000 via a HR4000 break out box. I have a prosoft

mv156 trying to talk to the HR4000. I tried to talk to the HR4000 via Hyperterminal,

but this does not work either.

Does your unit's serial No. begin with HR4A... ? If so the breakout box will not work with that unit.

Here is the manual, with trouble-shooting and several links for assistance. The OS must be 32 bit, and software must be installed before connection attempt.
