2003 Cavalier turns over, won't start

01/21/2009 8:08 AM

Just replaced battery, car turns over but won't start up. Car is kept outside, no garage. Could I have a fuel line problem? Car started yesterday, went across town, stayed for a short time, went to leave and car would not stay running. Finally car started and I drove back home. Went to leave later, and that's when battery was dead. Replaced battery and car is now turning over but will not start.

Hello, Many helps could be if we know your geo location. Have you tried adding a chemical to absorb water in the fuel? Try it and then ether to start.

Get some dry gas and put it in the tank. get the car started and fill it up with premium gas.

Keep your gas tank full in the winter to avoid condensation.

Condensation in tank is attributable to situations where an extreme temperature change occurs, not actually prevalent for unheated vehicle parking areas.
