wireless robot

hello...for a project v have designed a wireless robot..but for further more complexity we want to add aomethin...plea any body give suggestio..v thought of adding any sensors...any body give the idea of any sensor that can be added with that..?another questio ...can a sensor that automatically senses the head light dim or bright can be added with that...?sensor must be economical also...reply soon...thanks

You could add infrared proximity sensors for cheap.

Light sensors are very, very commonly added to robots as sensors. They are one of the most basic, inexpensive, easy to use and useful sensory inputs and they can be used for such things as proximity sensing (collision detection), navigation (by following light sources), etc.

The basic light sensor is called an LDR (light dependent resistor).
