how much power gets generated when a vehicle moves over it? can u give details about the mvar or mva rating?

From what I've read about this concept you would probably never generate enough power to actually re-coupe the initial outlay for the design and upkeep of these "Power Generators". What could you possibly do with the slight power you would get? Turn on a little LED sign saying thanks for the inconvenience!

suppose approximately 10,000 vehicles passes over a speed breaker tat is constructed near petrol bunks or in busy roads .ifeach vehicle generates a milli watt power then a kw or even a mw power could be generated.when considering 2day's power scarcity i feel this method could be adaptable and the electrical energy could be used 4 future purposes.

This idea has been discussed on other CR4 threads. The short answer is that you always lose more energy than you gain (and this is before you take into account the energy required to make the generators). Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it has to come from somewhere, and in the case of vehicles it comes at the cost of increased fuel usage as the vehicle engine is required to work harder to move over the generator. The bigger the generator (ie- higher generating capacity), the harder the engine will have to work to move it.

The only useful purpose for these types of generators is as a remote source of small power generation (mW to W range) where access to a fixed grid supply is not available and other options of remote power are less viable (such as solar, batteries, diesel generator, etc).

What exactly are you asking about? Is this regarding energy harvesting devices that can be used to generate power when a vehicle (or person) passes over them?

If this is, then you are not talking MVA rating (unless you are thinking of over-unity power generation). You are never going to get more energy out of a system than you put in. Think more along the lines of the much smaller measurement "VA" or "W" rating.

Can you provide more information on what you actually want please.
