We are following the Standard for DGA is ASTM D 3612-02, Method A(Vacuum extraction). We are in starting stage . My question is how i can calculate gas content in the extracted gas from transformer oil using formula available in the ASTM standard? We are using multiple Gas Extraction system and our GC is SHIMADZO GC-2014. Please explain.

ASTM D3612 - 02 is a standard Test Method for Analysis of Gases Dissolved in Electrical Insulating Oil by Gas Chromatography.

For determination of gases refer below.

1. Determination of total dissolved gas should be made in accordance with ASTM D2945-90 [1].

2. Determination of the individual dissolved gases should be made in accordance with ASTM D3612-90 [3].

For interpretation: IEEE Std C57.104-1991
