Honda Accord Model 1998 engine RPM more

one of my friend having car HONDA ACCORD, model 1998 while first start at morning the speed shows 1000rpm. but with rise in engine temperature to its normal the engine RPM became increased to 1400 even in car parking position also.

Better questions will yield better answers. With the wealth of information you have sent, my first guess would be a vacume leak.

Geeeeh! That seing like some sensor troubles there my friends. But the best bet will be to hook up the scanner to see where the pain is. Something fishy to tell for sure sometimes. Anyhow check up the voltage supply just in case something going wacko with alternator unit. You never know!
