Old Compaq Terminal Equipment

Do any of you IT people recall details of the old Compaq terminal equipment. I have a model # T1010 part # 207744-001. The board inside has a lot of WYSe chips. The O/S sticker says "Win CE2.12 for WBT 1.5 embedded

Can I make this stand alone by having a hard drive added? I need a small foot print processor for dedicated use with an O-scope adaptor. From the looks of it; this terminal boots up into Win CE so I am guessing I can plug my O-Scope adaptor into the parallel port.

If its Compaq don't waste your time discard it straight at the most you can reuse the cabinet Because Compaq never built any thing for reuse or upgrade.
