7 GENS IN PARALELL KVAR IS HIGH ON TWO MACHINES WITH 2.5MW ON EACH MACHINE THE HIGH KVAR READING IS 1145 SHOULD WE INCREASE OR DECREASE DROOP TO SHARE KVARS MORE EFFICENTLY

The first thing you should do (apart from stop shouting) is to check WHY two of your parallel gen sets are not sharing the load. Unbalancing the generation system without understanding what is actually going on is likely to make the problem worse, not better.

What size are the generators? What is the load on each generator?

Droop refers to KW load sharing. KVAR is related to the excitation, adjust the regulator setpoints (i.e. voltage) of the units not the droop. It almost sounds like you have 5 units in manual and two in auto voltage control?

Once they are in parallel, adjusting what would have been the voltage before paralleling would adjust the KVAR.
