if u want to measure relative waveforms , characteristics or machin cycles or the behavior of ur or others ckt(may it be power, control, protection, signal conditioning ckt) you can use the software like MATLAB(matrix lab) which can simplify ur work.
and if u still want to connect cro to computer but u have to give feedback of work ur doing first to com and seconadaly frm com to cro through vb programming which is able to show u thae wave forms of ur operation, i will tell u to go for 1st way, choise is urs.................
