Wireless Mesh Networking and Windows CE

Clearly, the area of mesh networking is growing in leaps and bounds, but as far as I can see, it's mostly either proprietory or purely in development as far as IPv4 goes.

Does anyone know of any commercially viable solutions for building mesh networks of Windows CE devices? I'm currently looking for a solution that would allow for plug-and-play setup of medium-scale wireless networks without the headaches of site surveys and provisioning...

I haven't heard of any such solution out there. Again it depends on the application, you can perhaps theoretically rig a WiFi semi-mesh solution, but may not be cost effective to implement. The closest thing to ad-hoc wireless mesh networking is ZigBee (www.zigbee.com). This is Open Standard enables any random set of ZigBee devices to form a wireless network at will and is intended for networking sensors in monitoring and control applications for the building automation, home automation, industrial plant monitoring and many such verticals.
