Excel Equations/Formulas

Hi,

i have a report format as shown below. Kindly educate me on the following,

1. How to calculate Alarm duration i.e the difference of Alarm End Date/Time (Cell:G2) and Alarm Start Date/Time (Cell:F2)

2. Percentage of daily outage i.e Value of Alarm Duration (Cell:H2) in seconds divided by 24x60x60 seconds x 100%

3. Date/Time format for F and G will be 3/14/01 13:30 i.e (Date Time)

Well, aside from the basic math which should be self-evident, what I would suggest is setting your date and time formats to something like d/m/yyyy hh:mm for the start and end times, then doing the math, then setting the resulting format to just m/d hh:mm

The Alarm Duration will then show up as month/day hours:minutes
