Anti-guided MISSILE

Is it possible for fighter plane to destroy a guided missile that was trying to hit it.

Why not ? where are the anti missile missiles ? success rate is questionable, better to avoid it (also from other angle I don't think CR4 will entertain this topic ) but who knows. I will watch and see whether this discussion is closed.

I don't know about destroying the missile but there are means to avoid being hit and destroyed by it, such as deployment of objects or materials to distract the heat seeking guidance system of the missile.

Chaff and flares to avoid. Maybe you can come up with little missles on a rotatable mount.
