What is differance between Weldolet and socketolet .How we come to know where we have to use what.

Weldolets have a beveled end for full penetration welds to beveled pipe.

Sockolets have socket weld connections.

Weldolets are better for fatigue, pressure, vibration, corrosion/erosion - but are a little harder to fit and weld.

Sockolets advantage are they are more forgiving to fitup and weld.
