how to convert psi to newton's?

PSI = Pound/ sq inch = Pressure

Newtons = Force

Pressure = Force / Area

Hence PSI can not be converted to N

BTW

1 Pa = 1 N/m2

1 PSI = 6894.757 Pa

pr conversely

1 Pa= 0.0001450377 PSI

you can use these two to find what you want

Dear friend,

let me make it simpler:

14.73 psi = 1 kg/sq.cm = 1.02 N

and 1 N/sq. cm = 0.069 psi

That should be clear.
