mansooor,

SIMULINK, part of MATLAB is used for power system analysis for such things as fault analysis, power factor correction and other power system modeling.

For SIMULINK do i need to buy MATLAB cd or SIMULINK cd is seprately available in the markeet???

You would need both MATLAB and SIMULINK. MATLAB is required to run SIMULINK.

Look at the Matlab site. They have examples and presentations.
