Conveyor belt systems

What kind of material is coke? By the little information I have, it is a by-product of coal.

How does one convey coke in mines? What kind of conveyor belts or systems are used?

Coke is not mined. Depending on the type of coke produced (see post 1 reference) you can convey on belts or pneumatically. Needle coke or similar products produced in things like delayed cokers (from hydrocarbons) are usually conveyed pneumatically.
